The book I read was Unwind by Neal Shusterman. Unwind is the
first book in the series that Neal Shusterman wrote. He then went on to write
four more books in the same series.
UnStrung, UnWholly, UnSouled, and UnDivided. This is a Fictional story about children who get unwound for misbehavior and also if they have met there peak of achieving greatness.

The book Unwind is about the world in the future when children are
allowed to be unwound. Sort of like an abortion but at an older age. The
children that are usually sent to be unwound are between the ages 13-18. They are sent to places which are called
harvest camps. The main characters of this story are Connor Lassiter, Risa
Ward, Lev, and Jedediah Calder. Through out the story each on of these unwinds meet starting off with Connor on
his own trying to survive and dodge the Juvenile cops. They soon join together
waiting to turn of age so that they can't be unwound.
If you enjoy a thrill while you read I would recommend this book to you.
It is a page turner and makes you want more. There's many twist and turns in
the story that make you wonder how the books going to end. If you want a
good book this one's for you.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Jesus that Unwind is a great book. In a world were parents can give their ''bad'' kids to the government to be unwound. The parts of those bad kids are used as parts for those need them. Problem is no normal kid wants to be unwound. Kids have frequently run away only to be found by the juvenile cops. These kids are then sent to Harvest camp were the unwinding happens.Fallow as a group of teens escape for it all and go to safety. This book is great because the author gives a lot of detail about the characters, their feelings , and some of their motives. The book is never very slow and most can relate to the main character, Connor Lassiter.
