Diary of a Wimpy Kid

My book is called diary of the wimpy kid by Jeff Kinney. It is a series of fiction comics. He has written more than one books relating to book one.

This book is mostly talking about a boy named Greg and he has a best friend named Rowley. Also his first year in middle school and he is not having a good time at school. During his first class period he was forced to sit with other people he didn’t want to sit with and one of the dudes name is Fregly. He doesn’t think his best friend Rowley would fit in middle school because ever since they were friends he thinks he is very immature. Rowley and Greg decided to join wrestling in school but then Greg decided to stop wrestling because he lost a match against fregly one of the guys that he didn’t want to be next to.

I recommend this book because I feel like I am in his shoes like we have a connection. Every time I start school I just don’t want to sit by anybody I don’t know. So if you are interested in finding what happens next in the book you should check out the book in the media center and see if the book is interesting to you.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Author: Jeff Kennedy the

This book can be related to other books because in other books there's always a best friend and if they have a older brother he is the bully.

This book is about a boy and his best friend That try to fit in the high school well they struggle at home with their family members especially Greg he doesn't get along with his older brother so they always fight plus Greg heffley and rowley Jefferson are best friends. Greg is new to the high school but his best friend rowley isn't so when they went out to the basketball court there was moldy cheese that Greg was going to touch but his best friend rowley moved his hand because if he did he would of had the cheese touch.

I personally liked this book because it is funny and has more pictures than words and it is really fast to read this book has 170 pages and I read all of it in 2 weeks.

I think this book was personally for people that like short funny books and if you have to read a book that one goes by fast.

I think people should read it because it is a very funny book and can problem relate to your  life that's why I think you should read this book if you want to read a book for younger people this would be a perfect book I used to read it to my little sister and she loved it so go to your local library and read it

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School

The book I read was Diary of the Wimpy kid old school by Jeff Kenny. This is the a series book and I am reading the tenth book of the eleven in his series of diary of the Wimpy kid books. I wish he would keep writing more because they're fun to read and they are made for all ages to read.

The reason I decide to read this book is because since I was young I always liked these books. In the book diary of a wimpy kid old school Greg heffley is sent to summer camp that's not safe for kids and because of a monster that takes kids named Silas scratch. So Greg and his friends try to come up different ways to get kicked out of the camp.

I am going to continue to keep reading the series because it has humor for all ages and it leaves you wanting to read the next one as soon as you finish the other one. In my opinion I really liked the book because it shows what a real kid or teenager would do if they were put in Greg’s situation. I would encourage people to give the series because you might end up liking the books.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The book I read was Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and I must say I think this book is weird. Basically this book is what call a “comedy book”, a book that doesn’t focus on the central story but focuses more on trying to make you laugh. The whole idea of the story of “the common American teen and how he tries to the biggest douche on this side of the planet while also tries survive middle school and his family”. That surprisingly sums up the story of this book.

The story, as you may guess, is about a teen named Greg Hefley who is a part of a trinomial family. Alongside him we have his older brother, Rodrick, who sets low expectations, his younger brother, Manny, who is basically the queen of France, and his mom and dad. As we get closer through the story we learn about his best friend Rowley, who develops surprisingly more than the main character, Greg. The whole idea of this is to survive middle school without any problems. Honestly if this were a normal this would be Rowley’s story, but this isn’t no normal book. Honestly I would read this book from beginning to end for its gags. For example, when on new year’s, when Greg decided to play with Manny by pretending a piece of string was a spider, you expect some character development for Greg, Right? Nope! “Manny was squealing and you know what. The fool swallowed it.” Then later Manny runs to Mrs. Hefley and tells her that he swallowed a spider but Greg told him it just string. Mom gets out some and tells to pick the size. But, Manny pulls out an orange from the fridge. Then the ending quote: “My new year’s resolution was to never to play with Manny again.

I still think this is still a good book and it teaches you the morals of family and middle school. But at the same time it hits you with gags and it surprisingly keeps a balance. If you want something to keep you laughing and still want some morals this is a good book for you. However beware, you need a clear mind to read this book.
