Seekers: Smoke Mountain

The book I finished reading is Seekers: Smoke Mountain. the author is Erin Hunter. She has written many, many books. She has written 3 different series of books. Warriors, Seekers and Survivors. Warriors is a good book. Seekers is pry the best series of books she has written. I read the first couple of pages and I didn’t really like it. In this book Lusa, Toklo and Ujurak meet Kallik at a place called Great Bear lake. Great Bear lake is where all kinds of bears meet on the longest day of the year. Lusa and Kallik meet each other there. Now all four bears are traveling together. The theme of the book is friendship because on their journey Lusa gets hit by a truck. All of her friends take care of her until she is better.

After the longest day is over all the bears meet this old bear. He tells them about the last great wilderness. It is a place where there is no people to bother the animals that live there. It’s like paradise. So off they go to the last great wilderness. But in order to get to the last wilderness you have to pass though Smoke Mountain. Smoke Mountain is a dangerous. Bears go in but none come out. While they are in Smoke Mountain some hunter spot the bears and try to kill them. The hunter get Toklo by setting a trap. It is raining and as the hunters are heading back to their cabin their truck falls off the cliff. If you want to know what happens then you’ll have to read the book.

I liked this book because it was full of suspense and action. There weren’t any major boring parts so it was hard to put the book down. If you like suspenseful and action filled books the this is the right one for you. If you don’t then you can still read it. It helps you understand not to take things for granted. To appreciate what you have.
