The Last Olympian

My first book is “The Last Olympian” By Rick Riordan. Some off his other books are The Lightning Thief, Sea Of Monsters, and many more that can be found at http://www.rickriordan.com/ . The theme of this book is that no matter how hard things seem you can get through them with the help of others, and personal determination. The book is about a teenager who has godly powers has to lead his camp to war.

The story is about a boy named Percy who is the son of Poseidon. He has to help and lead his camp against a war with the Titan named Cronos and his monster army. Percy, with the help of Annabeth and Grover, has to overcome many obstacles throughout the story. There are ups and downs but in the end, he will decide the fate of the world.

This book is your kind of book if you like action and adventures. Rick Riordan is one my favorite authors because of this book. In the book he keeps the reader wanting more with mysteries around every corner. If you need a good book to read then you should defiantly go and read this book right now.

The Last Olympian

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

Rick Riordan has written a lot of books based on different types of mythology such as The Son of Neptune and The Battle of the Labyrinth.

The last Olympian is about Camp Half Blood and their battle against Cronus and his army of Greek monsters. This battle takes place in New York City at the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building is the current to get to Mt. Olympus.

I liked this book because it is based on Greek Mythology which I very enjoy. This book epically is good because the battles were very interesting and detailed. Also every character that was very strong had a very easy weakness so that they went very overly strong. Also at the end of this book the author made a sequel series with Roman Mythology.

I would suggest this book to anyone who has read the books before this. If you had not read them the whole plot of the story would not make much sense.

The Last Olympian

The book I read was the Last Olympian by Rick Riordan. Riordan is a successful author writing numerous series. Such as the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Also he is writing a sequel series called the heroes of Olympus. The theme of the story is action/comedy book with plot twists and turns. This book will have wanting to read more of it. Also the story brings ups events in ancient Greece. Such as Greek gods and goddesses and famous events like the ancient war. Riordans books are the best because each page will have you sitting up on your chair very interested.

This book it’s about a 16 year old Percy Jackson whose father is the god of the sea Poseidon. Percy is forced to make a decision that could end his life or his whole camp. His camp is camp half-blood where demigods are safe from the mortal world where they are blood thirsty monsters from the underworld. Demigods are the product of s Greek god and a mortal. Demigods are hunted by monsters so they go to camp half-blood where they live and train to fight monsters by the centaur Chiron. A centaur is an immortal that is human from the waist up and is a horse from the waist down. Chiron mentors young demigods to survive in the mortal. Percy’s friend Annabeth is the daughter of Athena the goddess of wisdom. She is well organized and an awesome fighter. So the problem in the story is that the ancient titan lord Kronos has awakens from a long slumber. The titans are gods that ruled the earth before the Olympians and now they are trying to over throw the Olympians and take power again. The Olympians are weak but it’s up to the demigods to save the world!

This book should be recommended to everyone because it is freaking awesome. Go out and find this book it will make you jump of fear and excitement. Also they made movies about this series in a few years this book will be a movie. Trust me this book is better than any book on the market. Also you should read more of Riordans books. I promise you it is your money’s worth.
