The book “Trapped” is about 7 kids who gets trapped in their
school because of a snow storm , no one
knew that it was going to keep snowing for a week, Scotty and his friends
stayed after school in order to work on
Jason’s go-kart. Scotty, Pete, and Jason thought it was just a small
harmless snow day so they decided to stay after school and work on Jason’s
project and Jason said that he’s dad would come and pick them up.
When they realized that, no one is coming to get them they
went and joined the others. There were four other kids standing by the gym and
two of those kids were the two hottest girls in
school so they were happy and there was a teacher standing there keeping
his eyes on them until their rides appear.
When they stood there for hours, they saw a red light out the window and
they thought it was a person coming to get them. The teacher decided to leave them to go and
found out what it is and get help if it was the cops or a person, so when he
left, he never returned and they were alone with no adult to tell them what to
do.
When it got dark, the seven kids did not have food or
anything, so they went to their lockers using their cell phones as lights to get
what they need. Some of the kids had food in their lockers and some of them had
extra clothes to wear so they can get warm. That night they slept in the
hallway waiting, when they woke up the heat was off and the exit lights and the
emergency lights. They went in the
kitchen and the door was open so they looked for food and saw some hot dogs in
the freezer.
Out of all the books Michael Northrop has written I only
liked trapped because it’s more interesting to read other than Rotten or
Plunked. I have read this book like 100 times in the last 2 years because this
book is really interesting for me because this book is talking about a group of
students that are trapped at a school. They have to survive till somebody come
and get them out or wait in till the snow goes away. . I would recommend
reading this book because the book is really interesting to read and I know
that you would like when you read it.
