The book "Cut" is a novel written by author Patricia McCormick.

This girl named Callie has to go into SickMinds a place for people that self-harm and have eating disorders. Callie cuts herself not to deep but just enough to feel the pain. Patricia McCormick has also wrote, MyBrother's Keeper, Sold, Purple Heart, and Never Fall Down

Callie cuts herself because she likes the pain. She goes into a mental place and meets some new friends, although she doesnt talk much she knows alot about people. you have to read to know what else happens.

I really liked the book because alot of people that I know self-harm and I can relate. The author makes the book very easy to create an image in your mind, it doesnt go into a lot of descriptive detail on the bloody parts. This book is one of those books that you just dont want to put down.
