Dark Secrets

Dark Secrets.  This Book is by Anne Schraff.  This author has also written:
The Bully
Secrets in the shadows
The gun, and more.

My Book was about a girl named sandy who got ran over by a vehicle on a night after a big party. All her friends didn’t get a look or even a glance at the vehicle that ran sandy over so the case went blank for a while. Meagan, Sandy’s best friend had a friend named Hugo who wanted to become close friends with her but he couldn’t do it because her older brother and father.

Later on in the story they figured out sandy was ran over by a friend.

I like this book because it has an interesting storyline and it leaves you thinking about all the blessings you have in life.

I recommend this book to other readers because this book will teach you some life lessons about the right and wrong things to do if you’re student in highschool.

No Fear

Anne Schraff wrote a book called No Fear, and I can’t say it’s like any other.

Ernesto moves state to state because of school fear. When he gets to Cesar Chavez High School he knew he had to stop living in fear. At Chavez High he meets a beauty, Noami Martinez who also lives in fear but for different reasons. Ernesto stopped living in fear; can he help Noami do the same?

Noami breaks up with Clay, leaving him upset. Ernesto wants to win Noami’s heart but Clay is always the picture. Clay, seeing how close Noami and Ernesto are, he knows he has to get revenge or at least get the girl. One late not, Ernesto and his family are in the living room watching television, crashes sent to the window, no one knew what had happened. Could it have been a drop out Ernesto’s dad tried saving or was it Clay trying to get revenge?

No fear taught me a lot about people and the school society so I think it could teach a lot of High School students. I liked this book over all because I know how people can “operate” when it comes to a break up or trying to help. This book really sticks out and I think would enjoy it. Check it out, read it, and enjoy the book.

The Rescuers

The Rescuers is nothing like Anne Schraff’s other books.

Days to the mall had always been fun for Chelsea, but this day was very different. Heading down the road, Chelsea and her brother notice a man holding a bloody animal. Having no idea who he was or what he was holding, Jaris stopped the car and asked the man what he had been up to. The man walks toward the car, “Shadrach, Shadrach the opossum rescuer.”

The Rescuers happens to be about a teen girl and group of friends wanting to help Shadrach protect and save opossums that have gotten hit. Helping one of many opossums, they find one that is similar but different, Magic. Magic getting better and better each day made him get closer to having to be set back into the wild. Chelsea loving animals like she did, made her always watch the road. Sereeta, Jaris’ girlfriend, Jaris, and Chelsea were headed to the mall another day and Chelsea noticed another opossum and surely wanted to help it. Jaris, stopping the car, Chelsea ran to it and noticed that it wasn’t just an opossum, but it was Magic.

Other than not being able to understand all the characters and what the loved most about animals most, this story is recommended for anyone who is an animal lover and loves being involved. The title gives the story one meaning but once you read it you understand that you don’t have to save a humans life to be a rescuer.
