Gregor the Overlander

This is only the first book in Suzanne Collin's overlander series and im already hooked on the series. After ordinary 11 year old Gregor follows his little sister Margaret (they usually call her Boots) into a grate in their New York apartment laundry room, Gregor plummets toward an underground world inhabited by a city of humans who live in the presence of giant rats, bats, spiders, and cockroaches in delicate peace, but all that changes when Gregor ariives in the underland.

the novel is a suspence filled action adventure where a boy named Gregor and his little sister travel to an underground world known as the underland and enrust the help of a city of humans to help him and his sister to get back home to the surface. This story is unraveled in chapters that follow Gregor and his new friends in his quest to find his way back home. The further and further Gregor and his freinds go in his quest the more suspence that the reader has built up making the reader want to read more and thats what i like about this book.

during the time i was reading Gregor the Overlander i didnt want to put it down, the suspence that i built up during the story made me want more, which is why this book(in my opinion) is a good page turner. I would definately recomend this book to readers and im sure that all readers will love this book as much as i did and keep on reading the series.
