The book that I have finished reading is Think Big by Ben
Carson and it was an amazing book. This book is the sequel to Gifted Hands and
it far surpasses its predecessor. Ben Carson grew up having a tough life and
being at the bottom of his class didn’t help. But through sheer determination
and hard work he rose to the top of his class and is now considered one of the
best neurosurgeon in the world.
This book tells the story of famous neurosurgeon Ben Carson
and how hard he worked to get where he is. This book doesn’t just focus on him
but the people who helped him like William Jaek, Frank McCotter, Dr. James
Taren, and many more. This also tells the reader that they should strive to
succeed and work hard to be at the top in their field of work. This book has
inspired me to work hard at getting the skills I need to be a marine and that
is why I like his book so much.
This book was inspiring to me and so amazingly hand written
that I couldn’t put it down. I think that everyone should read this book
because it can even motivate people that think they cant do anything.
