Have you ever wanted to have superpowers and be able to live
on a island with a whole bunch of peculiar children? “ Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children” is a fascinating book, it will give you glimpse of what
it feels like to live with peculiar people. This book was written by Ransom
Riggs, he has written many other books like “Hollow City” and “ Library ofsouls”. The theme of this book is to trust people, throughout the book trust is
expressed because Jacob had to trust his grandfather was telling him the truth
about the monsters and the island.
“ Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children” is about a
young boy named Jacob, his grandfather was raised in a orphanage, fought in
wars and even performed in circus. Jacob's grandfather Abe would tell him
stories about his childhood, about how he grew up with peculiar children. His
grandfather Abe would tell Jacob fantastic stories and show him pictures of
peculiar children. Jacob believed all the stories that his grandfather would
tell him. When Jacob got older he started realizing that the stories that his
grandfather was telling him were actually real . If you want to find out more I
suggest you to read this book.
I really liked this book, because I thought it was really
interesting, the part that grabbed my attention was where all the peculiar
children have superpowers and they could do things that no one else can do. A
lot of mysterious things happen in this book that Miss Peregrine's Home For
Peculiar Children can do. I think you should read this book, because it's a
good book and I think it might catch your attention.
