Movie for Dogs is a sequel to two other books. Hotel forDogs, and News for Dogs. The book still has the main characters. Bruce, and his
sister Andi. They still have their dogs Red Rover (they just call him Red), and
Bebe. In this book, Andi finds out that she didn’t win the writing contest she
entered in the 2nd book (News for dogs). She got 2nd place instead. She becomes
extremely disappointed. She then shows the letter to her brother Bruce, and her
parents. She is then taken to get ice cream. She isn’t hungry, so she feeds it
to Bebe (her dog), and Bebe throws up the ice cream, and Andi has to clean it
up. After that she shows it to her, and Bruce’s Aunt Alice. That’s when they notice the winner was Jerry Gordon, Aunt
Alice’s Neighbor. When Andi saw this she was frustrated, because he used to own
(and beat) Red.

That’s when they find out about a dog lovers film contest.
Since their dog, Red, was the star of Andi’s book, they thought he could be the
star of their film. They think the story would be an old lady, who hates, and
is allergic to, dogs, traps all the dogs in the shed of her house she’s just
about to move out of. But she forgets Red. He frees all the other dogs with the
command “Open Sesame”. They ask their Aunt Alice if she can be the main
character, whose name is Mrs. Rinkle, besides Red. She agrees to help them in
the making of their film.
Then they enter their film in the contest, and send it to
Hollywood to get it judged with the other films. Andi went to Hollywood to get
the results back. They got 2nd place to Jerry Gordon, who is the same person
who won the writing contest. Then they find out that his book from the writing
contest was an exact copy of an already published book, except for the title.

Movie for dogs is a really good book for dog lovers. It has
a lot of suspense as well. I highly recommend Movie for Dogs for anyone who
likes dog stories.
