This book is about a Teenage boy named Hakeem Randall who attends Bluford highschool where almost anything you think of can happen! Hakeem has a lot of stuff to worry about at home while he also tries to keep up in school. Hakeems family cannot keep up with the bills on their home so they have to move and might even have to be homeless. You can figure out what happens in the story if you read this book. I rate this book a 10/10.

I recommend this book to other readers because it keeps you wondering what is next in the story and it will never be a dull moment in the story. I’ve personally read all of the Bluford highschool books because they are a wonderful series of books to read. My favorite book out of the series is The gun because it has a really good conflict and an awesome resolution. Goodluck!
