Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School

The book I read was Diary of the Wimpy kid old school by Jeff Kenny. This is the a series book and I am reading the tenth book of the eleven in his series of diary of the Wimpy kid books. I wish he would keep writing more because they're fun to read and they are made for all ages to read.

The reason I decide to read this book is because since I was young I always liked these books. In the book diary of a wimpy kid old school Greg heffley is sent to summer camp that's not safe for kids and because of a monster that takes kids named Silas scratch. So Greg and his friends try to come up different ways to get kicked out of the camp.

I am going to continue to keep reading the series because it has humor for all ages and it leaves you wanting to read the next one as soon as you finish the other one. In my opinion I really liked the book because it shows what a real kid or teenager would do if they were put in Greg’s situation. I would encourage people to give the series because you might end up liking the books.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School

This book is called Diary of a Wimpy Kid Old School. It is part ten of the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid which is written by Jeff Kinney. The theme of this book is about the old days. All of the book he had written is about the main character Greg, and how he feel about middle school. This time Greg was forced to not use technology and have to attend a field trip.        

The story is about Greg and how his parents always talk about the old days especially when his grandpa moved in to stay with them. He had faced many conflict, one was that he crash a car into a ditch and he have to go somewhere or when he's dad came back he'll be really mad. For example in the text he said “I realize my only option was to get out of town and I thought of the perfect way to do it” (Kinney 126). This mean that he will have to go to his School field trip which is sleeping in cabin and learning about hard work, but going there have it's own problem.

I really enjoy these Diary of a Wimpy Kid books because they're easy to read, there's picture to describe what's going on and how a kid feel about middle school. People who like fiction reality and especially middle school kids should read this book because this Diary of a Wimpy Kid book is about Greg life in middle school. You guys should definitely check this book and the rest of the other books in the series because it's doesn't really get boring and it's interesting about what he think sometime. Also try out the movies too they're pretty cool too.e
