Bang

 “ Bang” is a book by Sharon g. Flake. This book was written from a perspective of a black women. This book that I read this trimester talks about a young boy who had a little brother named Jason who was shot and killed at the age of seven becouse of the neighborhood him and his happy family of four lived. But after the killing of the little boy ,everything changes ;things weren't how they use to be enymore. All this began when the father of Jason decided he was not losing another son to the streets . One day he took the boy and his besfriend to camp then he left them there all alone to survive, that way the boys will learn to toughen up and fight for their live . Throughout this book the point to me was all about a boy who wants to prove to his father that he's a man ;guns gets in the way of that. The boys took a journey back home that wasn't fun at all they got beat up, were hungry, Very angry and fell sick .they officially made it home but that wasn't enough for the father so he sent the boy
