The book I read this year is called “Four”. This book is
based off of the divergent series. It's just one person's point of view in the
whole book, which happened to be the character Four. This book wasn't as
thrilling as the original divergent series but it was interesting to hear just
one side of the story. In order to understand this book you're most likely
going to have to read all the other books. The reason for that is because that
in this book it has flashbacks and foreshadowing. Also has memories that the
character will mention every now
I loved this book and I didn't at the sametime, I was half
and half with it only because I like hearing more than one side to it. For
example sometimes Four would be talking to someone in the story but you would
never hear that other person, you'd only hear Fours side. Also not that many
thrilling events happened in this book. Although I do like how in the beginning
it started with him as a little boy and how he grew up. That made me look at
the character very differently further into the book. My all time favorite part
in the book was when he first saw/met Tris. How he described her in the book
was very dreamy and very descriptive about the details on her face, and
sometimes about her crystal clear green eyes.
I definitely recommend this book for readers that are into
some action thrillers and romance/drama. If you have never read this book
before then I suggest from starting at the beginning and then reading “Four” as
the last book. This book really does a lot and has a lot of plot twists that I
think would attract a lot of readers. Also has very good description on people
and how they look. Guarantee you won't regret it if you read this book, along
with the original series!
