The Shadow Throne

If you're a fan of fantasy books you should consider reading The Shadow Throne by Jennifer A. Nielsen. This book is a trilogy to The FalsePrince and The Runaway King. She has written a lot of other books too like Behind Enemy Lines and The Mark of the Theif and many more. The theme of this book is you have to put all your hard work to good use no matter how hard you worked for it.

This book is about a boy named Jaron he's the king of carthya. He just found out that one of the king from a different kingdom wants to go to war with him because they want to rule carthya as well as the other kingdom and they want Jaron out of the throne. Now jaron has to think fast and come up with a plan for when the king of gelyn and their army comes. He has to get his soldiers ready to fight but there's one thing that is more important he has to protect the princess of avenia Amarinda and he has to protect his people. He made a plan to send amarinda back to avenia but he got news that it's to dangerous but he's gonna risk it anyways. Instead of jaron taking her back to avenia, jaron asked Tobias one of his soldier trainers and his best friend to send amarinda back to avenia.

If you're interested in knowing more about what happened read the book and the other two it'll make more sense. This books was really good and I really enjoyed reading it. It gives you thrills and chills. You should read this book if you're looking for something new.
