The that I read was Ghost by Jason Reynolds. Some other
books Jason Reynolds has written was All American Boys, When I Was TheGreatest, and As Brave As You. The comparison between of of his books is that
the all have to do something with all black African Americans. Young black
African Americans. The theme of the book Ghost is to learn how to not get in
trouble in school.
This story about a young black African American male that goes to school. He sees people running running track and gets interested. While their practice is going on he does some stuff that interests the coach, and the coach recruits him. But if he gets in trouble while in school he will get kicked off the team. But in school there is a kid who's always talking about him. The next day Ghost fights him and the coach finds out.
I liked this book a lot. The hooks really pulled me into the book even more. I really don't like reading books but after Jason Reynolds wrote the the book Ghost I was into his books specifically. This book was mainly written for all people. He mainly writes all of his books in a black prospective. For (ex), in his book All American Boys there was to authors. One was Jason Reynolds and he was black, and the other author was Brendan Kiely and he was white. Jason Reynolds wrote one part of the story in black prospective and Brendan Kiely wrote the other part of the story in a white prospective.
