Cinder

My book is Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Cinder is book 1 to the lunar chronicles series. Cinder is about Linh Cinder, a cyborg who operates a mechanic stall at a local street market in New Beijing and lives under the guardianship of her stepmother, Linh Adri. Throughout the story Cinder is faced with many problems, she faces hate and discrimination from her community and her stepmom because she is half robot. Cinder would like to live like a normal teenager like her stepsisters Pearl and Peony, but while they get fancy dresses and go to balls Cinder has to do the chores and stay at home. Cinders stepsister Peony ends up getting the plaque which is reviled by her stepmother, Cinder gets accused of spreading it. The stepmother sells Cinder to a research lab so a doctor can do tests on her. To add on she was invited to the upcoming ball, and she has to give the prince of New Beijing, very important information. I would recommend this book to someone who likes action , mystery, and a little bit of romance. The main theme of the book is discrimination because many of her problems has to do with her being a cyborg. I love this book because it made be want to never stop reading, I would recommend this book to anyone.
