The book I chose is Alice in The Wonderland, Alice in The
Wonderland is a fiction and a story that was originally written by Charles L.
Dodgson or other words, Lewis Carroll, he was born in January 27,1832 in
Daresbury,England and later in died January 14,1898,Guildford, England.Lewis
Carroll made many books like “The walrus and the carpenter”, “A tangled tale”,
“Jabberwocky”, “The hunting of the snark”, etc. but the most amazing book he
ever did was “Alice and the Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass”. Some
of Lewis Carroll stories almost have some of the story being told in the same
book, some authors will try to publish it and try to make their best to make
the story just like Lewis Carroll wrote down.
Lewis chose to write this book was because a young girl
named Alice, the daughter of Henry George Liddell, Alice Liddell. Alice in The
Wonderland became a very old book but many authors will try to remake to story
as possible so many people can enjoy the book and remember who the actual
author is. Lewis added crazy, unbelievable and amazing tales in Alice in the
wonderland, in his book “Alice in The Wonderland” and “Through the
Looking-Glass”, he added so many characters like Alice(herself)-always curious
about everything, The Mad Hatter- a good friend that Alice will enjoy and
trust, The Blue Catapiller- always there for Alice, telling Alice things she
should know and what is happening, The Red and White Queens- one side is good
and one side is not, etc. Lewis tried to make his story more interesting and
fascinating for his readers to read and enjoy.
I liked the book of Alice in The Wonderland because it's amazing how Lewis Carroll did his best to tell an amazing tale to a young girl named Alice. I was inspired how Lewis Carroll wrote his book, many other authors, directors, etc. tried to do excellently everything about the book. One of the directors that tried was Tim Burton, he was inspired by the story, he decided to bring it back to life(realistic). The book will inspire many people by just reading it or by just seeing the movie, Tim burton made both of the story(Alice in The Wonderland and Through the looking-glass) it's amazing how he could be able to do that for a story that was told a long time ago.
