Star in the Forest

Laura Resua, a living inspiration, is the author of star in the forest. She has published lots of books and novels. She has won lots of award for her books, and she is the one who made the notebook series. Those are some of the books that are recognized a lot. Star in a forest is about a dog that was found in a forest by a Mexican girl that came to the united state with her family illegally. Helping out something/someone you just met bring good luck.

In this story a dog is found locked up in a forest and a stranger walking by found him and went to the dog, fed him and kept taking care of him and eventually freed him, Zitlally being in the forest was due to her father getting deported. Zitlally mom had a choice of paying for her husbands ride to the desert but she didn't at first and then she realized she couldn't take care of three kids alone. Zitlally dad was then kidnapped and star was also missing, Zitally and her friend crystal then thought that Zitlally dad would be released if star was found. Star was eventually found and her dad was released from the people who kidnapped him due to Zitally’s mom paying a fine of $10000.

I liked the book a lot because it started out nice and it made me want to read more about it, in the beginning it made me wonder about the end, that why I love this book. This book target’s is for everyone not just a particular person, and I am 100% sure all the people who reads the book with love it. I know whoever is reading this review will love it, at first I thought the book was going to be boring then I heard that her dad was getting deported and the found a dog that make wishes come true. This book is worthy of thy time.
