My book is Homeboyz by Alan Lawrence Sitomer he has made a
couple different books about people lives and how they are treated differently.
Homeboyz is about a kid trying to give revenge to a gang because they killed
his sister.
It's about Teddy he is trying to give revenge because of his
sisters drive by. The characters are Teddy, Tina, Mrs.Anderson, Pops, Micah,
and Officer Diaz. Teddy got caught trying to give revenge and got arrested then
he went to court they just made do probation hours with Officer Diaz and he met
Micah there so Micah found out about Teddy’s problem so he got jumped to join a
gang just for Teddy and that's when Teddy found out it was not the gang he
tried giving revenge to. So he found out who it was and he told the guy they
have a mission so he took him far away and put a gun on his head but then he
ended up not killing him and took him home and the guy saw his wife dead and
put a gun on Teddy’s head but then the guy said never mind I want to die with
my pregnant wife and later Teddy fought the gang leader because he was the one
who sent him.
I like this book a lot and recommend it because it was
really good it was about what gang violence did to his family.

Homeboyz sounds like a book I'll read because it's about a guy who is seeking revenge. The reason I find this book interesting is because the guy who is seeking revenge is up against a gang so he's gonna need to be tough. Also because the person they murdered was his sister so that's very touching and I understand why he would want revenge. The other reason was because at the end he was wrong the person that did it was the gang leader not the gang members. So at the end he fought with the gang leader.
ReplyDeleteI will love to read this book! when I read the first sentence I got interested quick because I was not expecting it to be like that . Most of the books I read are meanly drama (girls) and I never really read books like this and I want to know what is going to happen. Is teddy going to get killed , is the police going to take him to jail or is he going to find the people who killed his sister. It also seems like it’s teaching you a lesson that gun violence and revenge is not the best way to solve a situation.
ReplyDeleteI really like this book because it touches on so many things and some people have to go through when you live in a place where it’s filled with negativity. I think this book people should read this book, so people can know how it feels to be in another person's shoes and see what they see almost everyday. This show how would feel if they lost someone who was really close to them. I would really like to read this book if I can be able to get it.

ReplyDeleteI really want to read this book because it is touching and it is painful for someone to loose his dearly ones. And this book also got my attention and made me question myself. Is teddy going to kill the gang who killed his sister and what will happen to him if he kills the gang who killed his sister and is he going to jail or will officer Diaz going to find out the gangs who killed his sister and what was the reason that made the gang kill his sister
