The Power Of Six

The power of six, by Pittacus lore is the second book in the, I am # 4 series. She has also written: I am number four, the rise of nine, the fall of five, the revenge of seven, the fate of ten, the legacies, six’s legacy’s, etc. all of her books are based around the series so there all pretty much the same thing.  the main character is john, but it pretty much goes back in fourth with most of them. It takes place all thought the USA and the world. The series is about ten kids who were sent to earth because there people were being killed and they wanted to keep their kind a live so they came to earth to do so and now the same people who destroyed them want to kill them. Through the whole book the theme is how to overcome fear.

The book starts where the last one ended they are running from the attack that happens in Ohio, John has just met six and is with sam. They are on the run and find a new house. There they stay for a while and john trains. He opens a chest and the bad guys finds them beats them and takes there chest. In the other part of the world Mariana is at an academy and she is really shy.  A new girl comes and her name is Ella; they become best friends. Then they find the chest and open in. everyone notices and its who gets there first. 4 and 6 split up. Four goes to an undercover base in east coast. Six goes to look for Mariana. When 4 goes into the base to look for his chest he finds something even better. Later 6 and Mariana are in a big fight whit the emery.

This is probably one of the best book I’ve read its always engaging. When I read it I couldn’t put the book down at all. I really think you should read it. Its like a real life story just its fiction. The one thing is if you haven’t read the first book you won’t get it right away. If you don’t like reading in think you should pick this up. By the end of summer you will be done with the whole series and be waiting for the next one that’s going to come out.
