This is Kennedy and I just finished the book Paper Towns by John
Green! Some other books written by John
Green include: The
Fault in Our Stars, Looking
for Alaska, An
Abundance of Katherines, Will
Grayson, Will Grayson, Let It
Snow: Three Holiday Romances, This
Star Won't Go Out, and more. I have
read The Fault in Our Stars and it was very good; I loved the book and it was
really touching! Most of John Green
books are tragedies and have sad endings.
I am sure that all of the other books John Green has written are really
good because the two books that I have read from him were awesome and I loved
them both. Paper Towns takes you on a
mystery with Quentin and lets you experience the adventure that the characters
go through. Paper Towns was a really
good book and the theme of the book is that people aren’t always the way they
seem, everyone has other sides to them.
Paper Towns is about a boy named Quentin Jacobsen or Q who
gets pulled into one of Margo Roth Spiegelman’s adventures and experiences
things that he would never do himself.
After he goes on Margo’s adventure, Margo becomes a mystery that he has
to unravel by finding clues and discovering himself along the way. “The easiest way to solve a mystery is to
decide that there is no mystery to solve.
But it seemed clear to me now that she had left the clues to a mystery
behind” (Green 111). Will Quentin be
able to solve her mystery? The
characters include Quentin the main character, Margo Quentin’s crush and
friend, Ben and Radar his best friends, and Lacey Ben’s girlfriend and Margo’s
friend.
Paper Towns was a really good book; I really enjoyed reading
it. I would rate Paper Towns 8 out of 10
because the book was really good and kept me interested. If you like adventure books, mystery books,
or love stories, you would like Paper Towns.
I highly recommend reading this book.
