Tears of a Tiger

Intro: "Tears of a Tiger" is written by Sharon M. Draper. Sharon M. Draper has written Copper Sun, Out of My Mind, Panic and November Blues. Sharon M. Draper has an amazing way of expressing the feelings and problems that teenagers experience and puts them into phenomenal books. The theme of this book is you can never blame yourself for mistakes, but you can correct them for the future.

Summary: This book is about a high-school teenager named Andy. Him and his bestfriend Robert are the most popular guys in school because they are the captain and co-captain of the basketball team. After a car accident caused by Andy kills his bestfriend Robert, it's hard for Andy to go on in life. He is full of guilt for driving in the night after drinking and partying. Now, Andy has to find out how to continue is live and focus on what's best for him.

Analysis/Review: I highly recommend this book to teenagers that have experienced hardships and problems throughout their lifetime. I feel that most teenagers should read this book because it helps you open your mind and really put yourself in other people's positions.

  1. I am very interested in reading this book because I can probably relate to it more than a lot of other books. I have read a lot of other book like this before. I like how you explained what the author usually writes in her books, it made me want to look up other book she has written. I would like to know a little more background information. other than that I think this book review makes me want to go and read the book.
