The book, “I Am a SEAL Team Six Warrior”, by, former SEAL Team
6 “Black Squadron” Sniper, Howard E. Wasdin, is an autobiography about Petty
Officer Wasdin’s experiences, before and after joining the Navy SEALs. In the
book I saw Wasdin beginning his SEAL training, going through “Hell Week” and
“BUD/S”, and lastly engaging in firefights in Mogadishu, Somalia. In this book,
I visited Coronado, California, where the training to become a Navy SEAL takes
place. I also endured what the trainees had to go through for “Hell Week”. And
I also “visited” Mogadishu, Somalia and witnessed the firefights and bloodshed
that occurred, all through Petty Officer Howard E. Wasdin’s eyes. I also saw him
training to become a SEAL Team 6 sniper (He is one of Team 6’s best snipers.).
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action
filled books, because trust me, this book has a LOT of action and more.
Book Review by Garrett N.
I think this book would be fun to read because i read American Sniper; It was also about a guy was also a American Seal. I think this book would be interesting because reading about people who are in the army is interesting because not everyone has the guts to be in the army. I like reading about all the things he has has to worry about like dealing with his family, being constantly shot at, and shooting at kids because they are forced to rebel against their government; this is stressful for him because he has a young kid at home. This looks like a good book because I enjoyed American Sniper and these books are so similar so it should be good.
ReplyDeletethis book looks like it would be very interesting to read because action is one of my favorite genres to read. This book seems interesting because being able to read about the experiences and training that soldiers go through to become so good at what they do is always interesting and it helps lend some perspective to military training and it gives a respect to someone who is willing to die to protect the country that they live in. This looks like a good book because i enjoy reading about the military and i like action, adventure books so it should be a pretty good read for me.
ReplyDeleteReally? Your going to post a comment on a book review that HAPPENS to be the one that I wrote?
