The book I
was reading is called looking for alaska. The author of the book is John
Green some of the other books he has written are the Fault in our stars , paper towns. This book just like the fault in
ours stars with one big heart throb. It also isn’t going to leave you crying
for 3 weeks either. What the story is about this guy who is nobody a until he
goes to this boarding school called Culver Creek were he this girl’s named
Alaska. Where his world will never be the same again. Read to find out more.
The theme of the story is nothing is forever.
Before: this
kid named Pudge a.k.a Miles goes to boarding because he doesn’t have any
friends. He meets three people there Alaska, The colonel a.k.a Chip, and
Takumi. They are looking for the "Great Perhaps". Until something
happens and the world changes. well there still be a "Great Perhaps"?
Read to find out more.
I would
recommend this book to people because it keeps you at the edge of your seat
with all the twists. Also it's kinda about the ;life of John Green himself.
Also if you like the Fault in our Stars you will like this because they are
fairly similar. Realistic fiction people will love this book. If you didn't
like the Fault in our Stars then you won't like this book. You should read it
because it can teach you things about life. This is why you should read this
book.
Book Review by Hannah M.
After reading this review I became interested in reading the book. The part in the summary when it states "this book will leave you crying for 3 weeks" really got to me. It proved to met that this book involves your emotions. It also shows that this is a really deep book. I know that I really enjoyed the movie the fault in our stars, so I feel that I will really enjoy this book. It sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI am very interested in reading this book after reading your review. I think this is intriguing because I love the style of John Green's writing. It is also always good to read books with life lessons in them. It helps you become aware of what may being going on around you and what to do to help in some situations. I love good books that make you want to never put them down and this sounds like one of those with the way it twists! I also loved the book The Fault in Our Stars as well as the movie so I'm sure this will be a great book.
ReplyDeleteAfter i read your review that i felt like this would be a good book for me to get started on reading. I feel like a lot of people could connect to the story: to real life experiences, or they could connect with the story in type of way. Their are lots of different twists in the story that i think people will enjoy and will keep them intrigued that they will have to keep going. They wont be able to put down the book after they get started. This is a book that I'm probably going to get to start to read it.
