Fake ID by Walter Sorrells is a very exciting book, along
with First Shot, Atlanta Graves, Fear, and Many more (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Sorrells).
All of his books have a lot of action along with intense mystery. His books are
actually very similar, as far as the plot goes, it involves some sort of
conflict, action, and the solve of the conflict. The theme of the book is that
you should do what makes you happy, tell the truth, and never abandon the ones
you love.
Chasity and her mother are the main characters in this. She
has been on the run with her mom for years now, her mom is wanted dead. Chas
and her mom are living in a small town. One night Chas' mom goes missing and
she has to live with her friend. Chas has 6 days to find her mom before she is
put in a foster home or even worse, murdered by whomever wants Chas' mom dead.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes books about crime
and conflict, also romance because this book is full of those things. If you
are easily startled by violence then this book is not for you. If you love a
good thriller with action around every page then you should definitely read
this book.
Book Review by Marcellus B.
i would read this book because, it has action, and a back story. I would also want to read this book because I want to know why the people want her mom dead?
ReplyDeleteI would definitely read this book. This book intrigues me because murder mystery type books always sound good and this one sounds good. I watch crime shows on TV and this sounds like a case right out of one of them. I also like to watch crime movies so I can definitely see this book being read by me in the future.
ReplyDeleteI would read this book because I personally like thrillers and stories with a lot of suspense. This book seems to be just that with both characters on the run because the mains character Chas’ mother is wanted dead. Right when Chas and her mother start to relax, her mother goes missing and Chas doesn’t know who took her or where she is. This is very intriguing because I really want to know if her mother is safe but the suspense won’t give it away! Another intriguing thing about this book is that I don’t know why her mother is wanted dead so it is just a big mystery. A connection I can make to this book is a movie I watched called Gone where the main character played by Amanda Seyfried was kidnapped, thrown into a pit and left to die. She soon escapes and tells people of the event but nobody believes her, they think she’s crazy. One day out of nowhere, her sister goes missing before her big college finals. Jill (Amanda Seyfried) knows it is the same man who took her that took her sister. She goes on a suspenseful search and ends up going into a trap, her sister was under the house unconscious but Jill suspected that she would be in the same spot as her so she goes there only to be captured again. She eventually escapes and kills the man and proves she was right the whole time and definitely not crazy. Like Fake ID, there is a lot of suspense and violence.
ReplyDeleteIf I saw this book and was able to get it to read, I definitely would. It sounds very interesting and exciting containing lots of drama, and more. If I really do end up liking this book I will read his other books also because they are very similar as you said. This reminds me of the crime tv shows like CSI and I really liked those shows so I probably will like this book.
