The book Looking for Alaska written by John Green chronicles
the friendships and adventures of one crazy group of high school students. He
is the author of many New York Times best sellers, which include his 2012 The
Fault in Our Stars and 2008’s Paper Towns. Both are destined for the silver screen, with The
Fault in Our Stars released in 2014 and Paper Towns set to hit theaters in
mid-July, 2015. While each of his books holds unique qualities, they all
attempt to connect with today’s readers by focusing on the lives of young
adults.

I really enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend
it to others. There are some parts that are slower at times but overall the
book is both intriguing and mysterious. I would recommend this book to anyone
who looks books that sound very realistic and related to them. This book is a
very easy read and it has you hooked from the beginning the book is also going
to be produced as a movie in the following year or two.
Book Review by Sophie K.
I would definitely be interested in reading this book because it sounds intriguing, its similar to the books I already read. It sounds like a mystery, and kind of romantic book to read. I like books that have me hooked from the beginning. I also like to read books that I don't want to put down and I just want to continue reading.
ReplyDeleteI am interested in reading this book now. This book sounds intruding because it is about high school student and I am a high school student and it sounds like it has at least a little action in it. This sounds like a book I would enjoy but I can't make a connection from this book to another book or movie.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, I would be so interested in reading this book everything about it catches my attention. Its everything I like in a book: mysterious, romantic, dangerous, fascinating and secrets. Reading the summary of the book makes me want to read even more and it has a movie that goes with it which is just beyond fascinating. I can read the book and picture what's it about and how the people might look like and compare it when I'm watching the movie. What really sounds intriguing about the book is knowing that its about a boy and a girl who makes a deal and knowing the boy did something that he can't undo makes me wonder what could he possibly do? I love books that I can have thousands of questions on and knowing I have to keep reading it to find out the answers. Most books are like this some can have good endings; and some can have bad endings that leaves you speechless but that's what makes you keep going non stop, your just so into it that you can't put it down and that's what this book sounds like.
ReplyDeleteI would be interested in reading this book. It sounds like its a fun read and is very different. I also like that its a mystery and has a little love twist. I think I would also like this book because I can relate to what its like being a new student and starting a new life. I can't wait to go see it in theaters.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely interested in reading this book. I love books with twists it keeps me focused longer this sounds like a great book for me to read. Im looking forward to seeing more of his things in the theaters.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I would be interested in reading this book because i enjoy books that are more action packed and always adding more to the story. I think I would get bored with it and this description makes it sound like the book would be predictable. I have watched the movies The Fault in Our Stars, and its one of my favorites but, I feel like this isn't similar to this book. Although reading The Fault in Our Stars, and not just watching it, could change my opinion on that
