The Good Ghoul’s guide to getting even is written by
national bestselling author Julie Kenner.
Overachiever Beth Frasier is a junior at Waterloo High in
Austin, Texas. She even has a chance to become Valedictorian when she
graduates. That is until Tamara; head cheerleader, tricks her into thinking
that she is joining the squad and have a chance to date quarterback of the
football team Stephen Willis. But really Stephen Willis organized the whole
thing and just wanted to turn Beth into a vampire and she wounds up dead.
Technically she is still alive but she is a now a vampire as well.
Beth now battles trying to figure out how to be human again,
relationships, and a way to get revenge on Stephen Willis. The book is all in
Beth’s point of view. This story has so many turning points which keep readers
into the story and waiting to see what happens next. As you read each page you
feel Beth’s suspense and it makes you feel for Beth and hope that she finally
finds a way to get out of her vampire situation.
I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in fiction
and mysteries. This book may be one of Julie Kenner’s best fictional stories.
There is also a sequel to this book named Good Ghoul’s Do.
