The book I am reading is "Grasshopper Jungle"
by Andrew Smith. Other books that he has written is "Moon Dust" and
"Totally Weird", and I think that his best is Totally Weird because
it's funny and there's a lot to it, it's also a pretty cool book, it is older
by one year (2012) but I like it a bit more than I like Grasshopper Jungle.
Sixteen year old Austin interweaves the story if his Polish Legacy with the
story of how he and his best friend, Robby, brought about the end of humanity
and the rise if an army of unstoppable, six-foot tall praying mantises that the
boys unleash in a small town- Ealing Iowa.
This story is about two boys that are teenagers, and
their names are Austin and Robby, they are best friends living in a place
called Ealing Iowa. This is a Funny, Intense, and Brave book, for the boys,
it's the end of the world. And nobody knows anything about it.
I recommend that who ever is reading this book review is
reading the book after you're done reading my review. It's a really cool book,
and I don't like to read that much, but this book made me laugh, and made me
wonder a lot about what going to happen- I just love this book. It brought me
closer to liking books and reading them. So please read this book, I guarantee
that you will LOVE this book especially kids the age of Austin and Robby so
they can relate to them and react by imagining what's happening to Austin and
Robby's Amazing story about the Grasshopper Jungle.
