The book Deeper is a sequel to Tunnels. The Author was
Roderick Gordon. His writing style is very slow, but interesting. I personally like his writing style. His
message through this book and Tunnels was to NEVER give up. Will, the main
character of the story goes through hell and back just to find out where his
father is.
This book is about an archeologist, named Will who continues
his search for his father. This book has a lot to relate to Tunnels, and
some-what has the same background. While Will goes on search, his journey takes
him through a subterranean world, when he find out that Styx (the bad guy) has
a master plan to capture everyone in the colony from a knockout poison, Will
then find himself trying to save others will his own life, is still yet
endangered.
I did like this book and the book before, but they both have
a lot to relate to each other with, so I kind of felt like I was reading the
same book twice. The characters were that same, the base of the story was the
same and the plot was pretty much the same thing. I would not recommend
readings these books unless you have a great amount of patience or I could
encourage reading one book. The good thing about this is you don’t have to have
a lot of knowledge from the first one to understand the second.
