Department Nineteen

Author: Will Hill
Genre: Sci-fi
Length: 540 pages

My experience with this author: This is my first book by this author. I can now say that I have finished this wonderful book and hope to find the sequel soon.

Preview: The book is about a 13 year old kid named Jamie Carpenter, his life was average, until one day he was home waiting for his dad to come home, he was with his mom when he heard the familiar sound of his dad's car. But something was not right, his dad bolted up the stair up to his room where Jamie didn’t know was in there, he was never allowed to go in there. All of a sudden a single black van pulled up and men in black uniforms came out and looked for Julian Carpenter (Jamie’s Dad) they had guns, an H&K Mp5 and a Glock 18. Then Julian went outside to face the men, a revolver in hand. He starts talking to the men and then he points the gun at one of the men's head and before he could shoot the rest of the men shot him there in front of their house with his son and his wife watching, as he lie there. Dead.

Review: This book is full of action, touching moments, loss, and with a tad bit of romance... This book really appealed to me because someone recommended it and said that is was a descent book and that I would like it. (She is the type of person that was more into books like twilight and the hunger games.) So I was a bit skeptical, but I still read after the first few minutes I was hooked I wanted to read it all day long. Okay back to the book, this book is wonderful I LOVED it. 9/10 2 thumbs up!
