This is an incredible book by Chris D’Lacey.
David is a 20 year old boy who is on college. He rented a
room at the Penykettle house to work on his homework and have somewhere to
stay. David finds out there are clay dragons and a lot of squirrels to help
out. He discovers these clay dragons aren’t normal clay dragons. They possess a
weird magical vibe. David has a lot to do living at the Pennykettle house full
of mysteries with the owner Liz and her daughter Lucy.
David meets the owner of the house and her daughter. The
owner of the house is Liz and her daughter’s name is Lucy. Liz sculpts clay
dragons for herself and Lucy and for anyone who visits or she knows. Lucy is a
young girl who loves squirrels. Lucy and David go on an adventure to save
squirrels and figure out what happened to this squirrel named Conker. Liz and
David just talk about college and how things are going and David tries to see
what the deal is with the clay dragons and why they feel the way they do and
what Liz’s secret is. David faces many obstacles in this book and has to figure
out many different things also while working on college.
This book is a good book for kids and all other ages. It has
a lot of mysteries and suspense here and there. I suggest this book to you if
you like reading serious of books. Try and go out and buy this book or go to
the library and check it out next time you want to read a book. This book has
good sequels to it and all the other books are interesting as well. This book
will keep you entertained hours on end and is a fun book to set back and relax
and read.
