FEED

One night, when getting ready for dinner, Georgia, a teenage news blogger, receives an e-mail that contained an application asking her and her partner and brother Shawn to not only cover, but also help run the Presidential campaign of a former U.S. Senator.  The story that unfolds is incredibly compelling, and keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.  It is full of mystery, action, adventure, and emotion.  Georgia and her brother Shawn travel the country with the former senator in hopes of becoming famous and win the election.  It may bring them to their fate or to greatness.

Advances in modern science had cured cancer, and beat the common cold, but in the process created something far worse…Kellis Amberlee disease, better known as zombies.  Despite the fact that the U.S. is infested with these monsters, life still finds a way to go on, and doesn’t turn into a huge crime ridden wasteland like you see in the movies.  Life is close to completely normal, other than everywhere you go you have to give blood samples so they know if you are infected or not with this new virus.  People still lose their lives to the zombies who wonder aimlessly around.  If you stop in a car they will flip you over, and break inside, so they are still an incredible menace to society. The zombies cause problems for Georgia and Shawn as they travel with the Senator and push through with the campaign. As Georgia and Shawn inspect areas to hold the upcoming election debates, they run into many obstacles that they have to over come due to the zombies.  Together they make life or death decisions for their whole team, and must make sure the campaign stays alive even if it means sacrificing their own lives in the process.

FEED is an incredible story that is unpredictable and can change in the blink of an eye.  You will not be able to stop reading.  It will feel like you are really in the story, looking through the eyes of Georgia and Shawn, and you will feel their emotions.  You will think about what would happen if they made different decisions, and what you would do if you had to make the same decision.  I would recommend FEED to everyone considering that it has a bit of every genre in it.  It is probably one of the best zombie books ever written.
