When i finished Gregor the Overlander, the first book in the
overlander series with a cliff hanger. I couldnt just leave Suzanne Collin's
series alone. I had to read the next book in the series, Gregor and theProphecy of Bane. When Gregor and his sister Boots first fell into the
Underland, Gregor swore to himself that he would never return. That desicion
will soon be forgotten when the humans of the Underland need Gregor to return
to fulfill a key part in a new prophecy that could possibly change the Underland
and Gregor forever.
Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane is a fantasy action
adventure book that follows our main charecter Gregor as he returns to the
Underland to retrieve his little sister who was just kidnapped by the humans of
the Underland and fulfill his duty as a key player in another quest of the
Underland. Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane is told in chapters that are told in
Gregors perspective from his time on his journey for the Bane. As you get
further and further into the book im sure you wont beable to stop for its the
suspence and hope that Gregor and his friends will make it through their quest
alive.
When I was reading this book, I had to push through the book
because of the hope that through bad time our main charecter, Gregor would pull
through and fulfill the Prophecy of Bane. With this book comes the suspence
which there are plenty of moments of. In conclusion I would say this was a
pretty satisfying book that I would recomend to anyone who was interested in
the first book and I am sure you wont be disapointed.
