Treasure Island

I read the treasure island by Roy Thomas. Roy Thomas has also written savage sword of kull, superman Vs Shazam, and Galactic storm 2, Conan of the Isles.The treasure island is similar to a book that I read in 8th grade called BLOOD & Treasure. The treasure island is also different from other books like Bone, Spider-Man, Batman, because the treasure island is about treasure and fights but others are not. The treasure island is about some group of people against some other group of people fighting for gold and the also lost their ships in the fight.

First of all, it all starts when Ben gunn came to Jim Hawkins mom' bar. Ben gunn got himself a room and bottles of beers and he kept drinking every day. One day a Pirate came to the shop and he was asking Ben where the treasure map was but Ben did not tell him so he kill Ben because Ben has the map of where they can find treasures and he did not tell him where the map was. Jim and his mom escaped after the death of Ben and the also took the treasure map with them. When they got to the city, they gave the treasure map to Captain Smollett and Dr Livesey. Smollett and Livesey decided to go find the treasure and Jim is going too. They sailed on the third day. When they got to the island, they rest for one day, and they began looking for the treasures on the next day without knowing that others two different pirates groups are looking for the treasures too. When the got to the treasure spot, other pirates were there too singing “Fifteen men on the Dead Man's Chest Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum! Drink and the devil had done for the rest Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!” so they started shooting and fighting, they also destroy each other's ships but Jim save and hide one of the ships. They battle last for weeks but they won. After the battle, they went to the treasure place and started digging. At their surprise, there was no treasure. There was a guy in the jungle who found the treasure and hide them, so the find the guy and he show them where the treasure was and they brought the guy and the treasure with them in the hidden ship by Jim. On their way home, a lot of their soldiers died because there was no food and a lot of storms. But the came home with the treasure.

In my opinion, people should read this book because I love it and it's not a boring book. I think it's a good book for teenagers but maybe not for adults. I think people should read this book if the found it interesting.
