The book I read is called Paper towns by John Green, he's also
the author of The fault in our stars, looking for Alaska and An abundance of
Katherines and more. His books are mainly about teenagers and how they fall in
love and in each story the character struggle to be happy or be with that
person.
Paper towns is about a boy, Quentin and he lives across this
girl, Margo who he has loved for the longest time. One night she climbs through
his window and ask him to borrow his car, to get revenge. The next day Margo
disappears, but Quentin wants to try to find her. With the help of his friends
Ben and Radar he tries to look for clues to find her, embarking on an exciting
adventure he soon discovers Margo isn't who he taught she was.
I did really enjoy the book, I like to read love stories and
this was a good book. The thing is this book is very similar to looking for
Alaska but it didn't bother me much, at first the book is good and you want to
read more, but throughout the story it kinda got slow. I kept reading it
cause I was still very into it and wanted to see what was going to happen at
the end. The end was good a bit disappointed, not my favorite book of his, but
still very good. If you're a fan of John Green books you will enjoy it, it's
like looking for Alaska which if you don't really care then you should read it.
I feel like this book was meant for more teenage girls but guys will enjoy too.
If you don't like John Green books, or aren't into this type of love stories,
or adventure books you should read something else.
