I read The Ultimate Gift, by Jim Stovall. He has also
written Today's The Day, Wisdom Of The Ages, and You Don't Have To Be Blind To
See. The basic plot of the book is when Howard Red Steven past away, he
left the testament for his heirs. With it, the journey of Jason Steven begins.
Its major theme are the lessons from Jason's grandpa, Howard Red Steven,
those will lead Jason to become a better person.
Jason is a nephew of a rich man named Howard Red Steven.
His life was full of wealth, but that makes him beings selfish, gruff and
tempered. And after his grandfather was gone, like every members of
Steven, he has a gift from his grandfather. He thought that would be some
money, but it's not. There are no money for him but a box with cassettes inside.
Which will put him in a challenge for one years to get a ultimate gift
from his grandfather. As a deal, Jason must to follow direction from the
cassettes and get through its challenge to get a ultimate gift in the end or he
will leave with empty hands if he can't finish one of them. With Mr.
Hamilton's helps, a lawyer and a friend as well of Red Steven, Jason will be
faced with himself, encounters with his grandfather's challenges, follows the
cassettes. That will change himself to become a great person.
In each cassette, it is a great lesson about life, wealth,
faith, friendship... those are the lesson for Jason and also for all who want
to be a better person than themselves today. This is one of the greatest
book that I ever read. I highly recommend you read this book as soon as
possible because this will be the good experience for you to make your life
more meaning. This also is a good entertainment book because the story is
very attractive with many exciting situations.
