The Roar

The name of the book is The Roar and was written by Emma Clayton. The Roar was Emma’s debut as an author as it was her first book. She then wrote part of the book titled The Whisper. The story takes place on Earth but it’s not the same as our home, as it has many differences from our world.

               

The story is about Mika who is trying to find his sister Ellie who had gone missing although everyone said that she died. The story switches between each of the twin’s point of view. While searching for his sister he finds a girl named Audrey who was born with no eyes. Mal Gorman, the villain of the story, tries to keep Ellie away from Mika… for a while.

               

I would recommend this book as it has action that will leave you on the corner of your seat! Intense rivalries that will have you picking sides! This book will surely have you hooked instantly if you like sci-fi that has many twists and turns that keep you from putting the book down.
