The book I recently finished is called "A Boys
Story" by Anderson Boa. It's about a 16 year old boy named Drew and his
two parents that always fight. One day Drew gets in the middle of one of the
fights and something bad happens to them.
Just a regular teenage boy, going through what everyone has
went through. High school, people, and parents. As he wakes up from the big
fight from his parents, he decides to go help stop them from fighting, but that
wasn't going to work for Drew's dad. After that fight, he starts to feel the
love in life, and how when a girl says I hate you it truly means I love you (as
Drew's mother says). And that life isn't just about sex, girls, games, and
fighting, it's about adventure, fun, and sometimes love. And that's what Drew
learns at the end of this story.
I like this book a lot because it tells you a lot about what
high school kids do right now, and how high school kids should listen to their
teachers and parents, and stay in school and follow their dreams instead of
setting a goal, and not trying at all to try and jump high enough to reach that
goal. This book about Drew's life made my mom and brother read this book.
That's how good this book is.
