God Grew Tired Of Us

My book is called god grew tired of us john bul Dau, it’s about a man names john right now he is living in south of Sudan in county called Duk Payul. A civil war broke out and the Arabs came to his village he was forced to run out of the village with one of his neighbors named Abraham. Both of them pass through a lot of people who had died, they have seen people getting beat up in front of them and also get beaten themselves. They travel around finding a place of safety they find a camp in Ethiopia. They stay there a while the United Nations help. And then the Arabs invade the camp were there are thousands of people. They all run into the water near bye while getting shelled at. But he gets through it walking for day then finding another camp in another part of Ethiopia he then studied in high school and got accepted into the U.S and lives in New York with a job and a house.

I thought that this book was really interest cause of how he describes his life in Africa and on to the United States. I was kind of also felt badly for him because he’s seen a lot of thing that I wished that I have never seen and I’m happy that he survived and came to the United States and wrote this book. I would read another book by the author but I don’t think he has another book but I think he should make another one, I thought it was cool when he was telling the things that happened in Africa and how he memorized everything that happened.
