The book I finished is Seekers: Fire In The Sky by Erin
Hunter. Erin Hunter has written two other book series. They are Warriors and Survivors.
in my opinion the Seekers series is a little better then the Warriors series.
So winter is coming so the bears go out onto the ice. Things go well at the
beginning, but Toklo gets angry because he has to rely on Kallik to feed them
and find shelter for them. The theme of this book is trust. This is the theme
because all the bears had to trust Kallik to take care of them while they are
out on the ice.
Since she got on land Kallik has wanted to go back to the ice.
When they got to the Great Wilderness the first thing she noticed was the
ocean. When it starts to get colder she suggests that they go onto the ice. A
few days after they got on the ice the bears are close to starving. So Ujurak
decides to turn into a whale and see if there are any breathing holes with
seals around them. But while he is a whale he meets a mother. She has been
looking for her lost calf for a long time now. All of the other whales in her
pod think that her calf died. But she wouldn’t hear of it. One of the main
conflicts in this book is when Toklo and Kallik got in a huge fight. Toklo
didn’t like having someone find food for him. On land everyone else depended on
him now they are dependent on Kallik.
I liked this book because it was action filled. There were
no boring parts. People should read this because it is a really good book.
There are so many action filled parts. And this book also teaches you to be
flexible and be able to adjust to certain situations.
