Secrets in the Shadows

The novel Secrets in the Shadows by Anne Schraff is a realistic fiction book about a boy named Roylin Bailey. Anne Schraff is the author of all the novels in Bluford series. Schraff novels compare to each other because there all about different students who attendant Bluford High School. The theme of this novel is about a boy who doesn’t have the easiest life and has tragic event happen in his life.

This novel is all about a student at Bluford High School named Roylin Bailey. Roylin hates his life and just wants to leave. This all changes when he met a girl named Korie, who he is crazy about. He likes her so much that he does something he can’t take back and regrets it. The result of this event may change his life forever.

I think you should read this book because it has a good theme and is over all a great book. This novel is a dramatic book and will keep you guessing all throughout the book.

  1. I read this book before and i couldn't put it down.I recommend this book because its very dramatic and you keep guessing and wondering what will happened next. This book is one of my favorite Bluford high books because it makes you feel like you are in the story with the characters and like i said before you will not be able to put it down because you want to know what will happen next. I will probably read this book again because i love it soo much.
