The Eyes of the Dragon

The Eyes of The Dragon is an action-packed and a very nail-biting story told by the legendary Stephen King. King has also written Carrie, ‘Salem’s Lot, The Shining, The Stand, The Dead Zone, Firestarter, Cujo, Christine, Pet Sematary, It, and Misery (to name a few). The Eyes of the Dragon and many other stories written by Stephen King are fiction.

The Eyes of The Dragon is told through third person omniscient. The theme that King uses throughout the story is that with great power comes great responsibility and to not let power get to you.

When King Roland is poisoned and the new rightful king is framed for killing his own father by Flagg the evil magician, the kingdom is instantly plunged into turmoil. With the rightful king, Peter, locked away in a high tower, Flagg sets to try to take over the kingdom through Peter’s younger brother Thomas. When Peter finally realizes it was Flagg that ruined his life, he does all that he can to prove his innocence and to get back what is his.

The Eyes of The Dragon was a respectable book to read. I would definitely recommend this people that LOVE in fantasy books based in medieval times. At times it could be a little confusing but overall it had amazing imagery, you could connect to characters, and the narrator of the story really made you think. This book was a good read.
