Dark Life

Dark life by cat falls is a book that takes place under the ocean. In the future after the world has been over populated and most of the world has fallen into the ocean. The earth has been over heated and the ice caps have melted. So some of the earth’s population lives under the ocean and farms. All of the farms have fences of bubbles and their houses are designed off of jellyfish or octopi. And they have to travel in mini submarines. They breathe from a liquid called liquigen that they inhale into their lungs.

The main character in this story under the sea is Ty. He is the first person to be born under water. When she meets a girl from the topside she tell her how it is super dangerous to come down to the bottom of the ocean by herself. Then when the seabilite gang comes and takes the submarine that they are in. When Ty and Gemma the girl from the topside get to the air lock a member of the seabilite gang enters the sub. But before he can even notice Ty and Gemma They swim away and go to the surface to return the sub that Gemma had rented. Ty has skin that shimmers; He got it from eating bioluminescent fish. So when they get to the surface everyone stares and asks how he got his skin and if he glows in the dark. After they return the sub they go into the trade station and ask around about Gemma’s brother that disappeared months ago. Then they go into a council meeting and stay there to wait for Ty’s father. They over hear them talking about the pioneers catching the gang instead of the police. And as an incentive they are cutting off the shipments of supplies. Then when Ty and his family are home the seabilite gang attack his house and when they do Ty has to make a descion that will either kill all of them or save all of them.

This book is quite well written and is very entertaining. Once this book gets to a certain point it is hard to put down. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a quick but good read. This book is a good science fiction read. It is really good at giving you the whole picture and the small details. It also is realistic in the fact that everything was pressurized and had to be waterproof. All in all this book is quite good and is a good read for anyone.
