Esperanza rising wa written by Pam muñoz Ryan, Pam is an American writer for children and young adults, she's half Mexican. This book is about a how a Mexican rich girl has lost everything but she managed to rise back up.
Esperanza faced many conflicts on her journey similar to the story of Phoenix. Esperanza goes from being a rich young girl to where her father, mother is not with her, neither is her abuelita. But she doesn't give up she is work hard to get money so she can bring her abuelita to her ill mother.
I like this book because it has good figurative language. I like how you can imagine yourself in the situation. Esperanza is also a true story, and I like a book that I can relate to. Esperanza Rising is a young adult historical fiction novel. All reader would like this because this book had something anyone can relate to weather your Mexican or not. I'd i courage to read this book because this book make you feel like your watching your favorite series on Netflix.
