The book I read was a fictional story for Young Adults called Antaka Witch. This book was written by Ursula k. Le Guin. She also wrote The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas. This book was interesting for me to read. It is about how to take care of some friends at school and had a real life hard core serial killer.
The main character in this story is Sunny, the girl who lives in Nigeria, but she was born in New York City. She looks west African but she's an albino. She's a terrific athlete, she is so sensitive to the sun that she can't play soccer during the day. She doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. When she was two, she almost died from a bad case of malaria. She remembered when her brother used to tell her that she was a freak because she could remember so far back.
I like this book because of how strong and brave that people can be in order to overcome obstacles and accomplish what they want. I also think both children and adults would enjoy reading it. The interesting part of this book that I will love to review again is page (1-17). On page 16 and 17 “That's my accent. I'm American”, Sunny said through gritted teeth. Sunny said that because all her friends were trying to understand her when she speak a Igbo, because she talked faster and she not sound like Nigerian , but as American. The audience should read this book because it has an interesting story about school friends and others friends to know how to love and take care of you everywhere.
