Whistle!

The book I am currently reading is a light novel called “Whistle!” by Daisuke Higuchi. I am still reading more volumes in the series and the character really catches my interest. The mural of the story is to never give up and I can really relate to the main character and his goals. This series is the only one I've read by this author and I currently think he's done a good job on it. I'm very excited to read other series he has written after reading this one.

This series is about soccer, teamwork, and perseverance. Character Shō Kazamatsuri transfers from Musashinomori junior high to Sakura Josui Junior High, hoping to make the soccer team. At the old school he never got to play as a regular so his teacher introduces him to a former Musashinomori player,Tatsuya Mizuno, causing his new teammates to get wrongly anxious about Shō’s skills. With not being able to play at his old school, Shō lacked in technique and talent. As his will to play grows stronger, he keeps practicing to become better. He inspires and also annoys many of his teammates causing personal problems to arise in the story.

I am currently really liking the book! It inspires me to work hard and the plot is really intriguing. This book is really targeting those people who are interested in manga, strategy, and soccer. Not many readers would like this book because it's different and I know many people don't like light novel books. But if you're willing to give this book a shot I guarantee it will be worth your time!
