Expecting

The book I read was called Expecting by Shannon Freeman. She has written many books

like Port City High Novels or series of summit middle school. This book is about 3 high school girls in their junior year, in which are pregnant and they learn how life is gonna be different from now on due to being a pregnant teen and also learn how to care for a baby too. Will they be able to handle it? The theme of this book is being a independent woman and friendship.

In this story there are 3 girls who all live in a different lifestyle. Kaelyn who lives with her grandma that is very rude and mean. Yessenia who left her horrible abusive father to live with her boyfriend and his mother. Last is lyric she lives a very great lifestyle compared to Yessenia and Kaelyn, until she meets a boy in a county program in which everything falls down from there for her. When the 3 girls find out they are pregnant, they are sent to this school that helps pregnant teens, and from there they go through hard decisions and drama.

I liked this book. I recommend this book to girls who like to read about drama and people’s lifestyles in books, because it has many good life learning parts in the book.

You should really read this because it's very interesting and shows great perseverance.
