J.K. Rowling author of the New York Times best selling
series Harry Potter including the Philosophers Stone, the Chamber of Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Goblet of Fire, the Order of the Phoenix, theHalf-Blood Prince, and the Deathly Hallows. All of them have been turned into
movies and were fairly close to the books. The Chamber of Secrets is the second
book in the series I believe the theme in this book is that you can do nothing
alone you always need help also that giving up is not an option.
Harry Potter, just returning to number four Privet Drive
after his first year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Through
the whole summer the Dursleys were as mean as ever and Harry was desperately
wanting to get back to Hogwarts at the end of the summer. Although the Dursleys
had other ideas when Harry messed up a important thing for his uncle Vernon he
had bars put on his window and door locked so he couldn't leave. But one
evening Harry wakes up to the sound of a car engine outside his window. It was
Ron Weasley and his brothers Fred and George. They had come to rescue Harry so
he could stay with them until school started after narrowly escaping they get
back to the Burrow (the Weasley's house). Then they are off to Hogwarts for
their second year but something is wrong at Hogwarts. The Chamber of Secrets
had been opened again. Harry and friends must find all the clues to find out
who or what has been petrifying students and killing Mudbloods.
I have read this book many times and still enjoy reading it
but before you read this one make sure you read the first one. I would say the
target audience would be kids but now people of all ages read these books like
children, teens, and adults of all ages. I believe you should read this entire
series it is an amazing adventure with amazing characters, well thought out
plot, and a satisfying ending please so read this book you will not be
disappointed.
